Busby SEO ChallengeFor all those of you that are interested in Search Engine Optimization, there is a really cool contest that is currently going on called the Busby SEO Challenge. The aim of the contest is to rank for the key phrase "Busby SEO Challenge" and the entry that is on the number 1 position on Google at exactly 12:00 noon Australian time wins the contest.
The SEO Challenge has generated a lot of response and as of today there are close to 450 SEO wannabes and professionals participating in the contest. If you take a look at the SERP's, the number of pages that Google brings back is close to a million. Now that is amazing for a phrase that did not exist a short while ago. Yahoo search brings back even more, close to 2.5 million pages. It shows the high level of competition that this SEO Challenge has evoked.
I have been following the contest keenly and am not able to decide who will win the contest. The favorites are the team from France, followed by Indonesia and the Philippines.
