I am pleased to announce that we have decided to revamp the AIST website. There are some really valuable things to look at when revamping a website. The opportunity is to make connections, to be effective with creating in-bound sales inquiries from web traffic. Sometimes it’s just a matter of getting tired of something and doing it all over again. It’s a fun process, it forces us to think about things, it’s a good creative outlet, and it keeps us sharp.
First, a frame of reference. This was what the AIST site looked like when we started this project.
So now, we decided to revamped www.aist.com.my — our main site. We want to share with you a few permutations we created along the way. Careful consideration should be taken. As the first step of revamping a website, we started by wireframe a new design using iPlotz. Within the process of building a website, wireframing is where thinking becomes tangible. Out of this exercise came the drawing below.
Let’s see how we can take this further. This moves on to the second round!

20 Mei 2011 tepat jam 3 petang (takdela tepat sangat), family AIST Melaka telah mengadakan 'Pertandingan Bowling Santai' sesama sendiri di Melaka International Bowling Centre (MIBC). Terdapat 3 kumpulan dengan bilangan ahli yang kurang adil iaitu 2 kumpulan dengan 5 orang ahli dan 1 kumpulan lagi cuma hanya 4 orang ahli. Permainan berlangsung selama tiga jam dengan 2 'game' termasuklah sesi penyampaian hadiah. Tujuan 'Pertandingan Bowling Santai' ini diadakan adalah untuk meraikan hari terakhir 3 orang pelajar praktikal di AIST Melaka iaitu Goldwin, Erry, dan Loh Sze Jian. Akhir kata, saksikan gambar-gambar sepanjang permainan berlangsung.

One of the important feature in NodeChatter is 'Shortcut'. Agent or user may set any keyword as a shortcut so that it will help agent to shorten whatever their typing while chatting with the visitor. For example, set 'Hi' as 'Hello, Can I help you?'. Agent can just type '/Hi' and it will appear 'Hello, Can I help you?' to the visitor. This may save some time and as a support to the agent in order to chat with the website visitor. If the agent did not set any keyword on this 'Shortcut' feature, then any word will appear as what they type while chatting.
